#NoMoreLimits | Menstrual Hygiene Day 2018 India
Social Media Campaign
Client: WASH United
Menstrual Hygiene Day (MH Day) celebrated on 28 May, raises awareness about the importance of menstrual hygiene management (MHM), catalyses’ advocacy and highlights solutions that help achieve good MHM for women and girls, both globally and at country level. The overarching goal is to empower women and girls to manage periods safely, hygienically, without stigma and with confidence.
Last year, MH Day in India, started on a clean slate. It created the biggest stir on this topic. This year, we took the conversation forward, with the focus to bring the girl and women back into the centre of conversation. By addressing the external stakeholders and environment that affects menstruation. This was achieved by shifting the attitudes and perception towards empowerment of women and girls.
Following the core principle of social change through positive, solution oriented messaging which is warm and entertaining, we used the power of popular media and leveraged new age content publishers to amplify the campaign.
